The wind was blowing fiercely and knocked over a Chinese stepping stone I had propped up in my garden. It crushed my prettiest rose-like tulip. I picked it up, straightened the flower, and glanced at the word on the stone as I repositioned it. My tulip was crushed by “Longevity.”
