Click here to buy A Child’s Book of Dog Body Language with Pictures: Help Keep Children Safe
This was a highly informative book explaining such topics as how dogs expressions and posture show their emotions, what to do if a dog bites you, how to live with a dog, and how to approach a strange dog. The other struck a healthy balance between giving enough facts to protect the child without making them overly afraid.
The vocabulary suited an older child. It would be great if Amber Richards wrote a version for younger children. I also think a few more pictures could have broken up the text more and help to hold the child’s interest.
All in all this is a useful, valuable nonfiction book.
